English ski racing camps in Japan

The camp locations are at Tsubakro and Omatsu yama ski areas, in Sugadaira-Kogen, Nagano-ken, Japan.

An easy Bullet train ride from Tokyo .( Asama Shinkanen)
Or an convenient car ride on the express way.(Nagano expressway)

Sugadaira is well known for cold temperatures and man made snow. Perfect for Ski racing camps!

Sugadaira also holds Annual FIS races. GS FIS in January, SL FIS in March.

Place of stay is Hotel Sonntag. Loctaed between Tsubakuro and Omatsu Yama ski areas. A 3 minute bus ride to either area. The hotel is fully equipped for ski racers. Great ski tune up areas, gym, and meals are all included.

Camps run from December through to March. Open to all ages! All ability’s!

  Doug Ito is a level 3 coach of the Canadian Ski Coaches Federation.
He has over 40 years of skiing experience, has won multiple FIS races in Canada, and was a winner on the Japan Pro ski Tour.
Doug has been coaching in Japan for over 20 years, helping senior racers Win World Masters events, and assisting children to reach top levels in their respected age groups.

Focus of the camps are on increasing technical ability, tactics, race planning, mental preparation,and ski tune up skill in a fun and safe environment.
Events trained are SL and GS.
